sure I'm as stupid as you are naive, We've seen it over and over and over in the results.
go ahead and buy it, its a GREAT platform and ALOT of fun,
but it will simply not be as fast as a well driven fwd car.
and a well modified fwd car on good tires can run with the AWD boys... need I bring the damn orange car up AGAIN
http://qcma.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=295&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
I'll say Dean knows how to drive, as does Noel
Proof is in the results guys. _________________ Terry Alberts

Maybe I'm wrong, I read ALL the AWD cars are the fasted. Next are the ONLY 2 RWD cars in time/speed.
Followed by the FWD Neons, etc. _________________ Gord

Sorry Gord, but it's time to get out the bifocals...and read the results again. Noel beat out adam, paul and alex with his neon and was faster than all the rwd cars.
I also was faster than all the rwd cars in the escort.

theres an 83 monte carlo on kijiji for 450 that needs a waterpump and if someone buys it ill give them the waterpump for it, perfect for the 500 challenge.
also a 93 suzuki swift for 500obo that needs exhaust but is plateable also on kijiji.
also a 91 toyota tercel coupe for 300 that is an ab car but is drivable also on kijiji _________________ 1980 trans am, 2003 350Z, 1970 nova ss,1986 subaru xt turbo, 1986 subaru xt turbo awd,1969 superbee, 1983 supra gts, 1981 corolla,1980 corolla,1961 impala ss, 1965cutlass 442,1964 cutlass,

Forget drive bias/power/weight etc. Any comparison between cars without similar tires is moot. Fwd is probably faster than rwd, I don't know, but there is no way to determine which is faster based on the winter rallyx results. Dean was just slipping and sliding all over (which was fun). I don't think any of the rwd cars had winter tires on. _________________ Elvis

| I did, had hakepellitas (however you spell that) up front with cheap studded winters on the back for the last couple of races. |

based of those results it looks like awd win by miles, Fwd dont stand a chance against awd. It also shows there are people who know how to tear up an awd and people that dont, so it hard to look at our results as whats fast and whats not. Its whos fast in what. _________________ Tyrone

I'll take that challenge FWD can hang with boosted awd cars...
winter/summer awd/rwd/fwd and tires are all factors..
dirt events are alot closer, traction isnt as much of a problem _________________ Terry Alberts

I have a customer with a 1991 subaru legacy manual trans non-turbo with a broken timing belt(non interference engine) who does not want to fix it. I would think in the $500.00 range. Call Dillon 531-2476 Daytime. Paul _________________ Paul B.
