It's that time of year again when the F1 season starts!
I've planned a club social event for the first race. This Sunday, Mar 14, 2:30pm at 'Creekside Pub' (3215 Eastgate Dr). Apologies, this venue doe not allow minors (never thought of it until just now!).
To make things 'interesting', I've also organized a side bet. If you'd like to take part, it will be $5 (half the pot to the winner, half to the club).
You need to select three drivers (ranked 1,2,&3) and one team (see list below).
You will be awarded points based on the accumulated FIA points as at the finish of the race. If your selected drivers finish in the position you ranked them, you will gain an additional 3,2,&1 point(s) (respectively for matching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Your picks must be emailed to me BEFORE qualifying starts (5:00am Local time, Saturday, March 13), any received after that will be ignored.
This year, the FIA points are as follows: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1
